Additional Information: The New Theatre Guild Scholarship Endowment Fund is provided annually to students at University of Kansas, University of Central Missouri and University of Missouri, Kansas City who are majoring in theater. Award selection will be based on teacher recommendations, academic records, and unmet financial need. Additional questions and requests for information should be directed to the theater department of the university the student is attending. This scholarship is administered through the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation (GKCCF), a local area charity founded in 1978 with the purpose of providing a dedicated and consolidated resource for diverse and otherwise unrelated charity efforts. From its humble beginnings, the scope of the GKCCF has expanded to include the broader regional area, as well as national inititatives, scholarships, and other programs designed to benefit communities across the country.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
