Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must have been accepted or be attending an accredited school of occupational therapy to pursue a career in occupational therapy (including art, music, or physical therapy).
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  4. Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate award.

Additional Information: A student is only eligible for one scholarship from the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR). Awards are based on academic excellence, commitment to field of study, and/or financial need, or other restrictions on specific scholarships. No affiliation with DAR is necessary unless specified. Scholarships are awarded regardless of race, religion, sex or national origin. Only winners are notified by the National DAR Scholarship Chairman following the approval of a ruling by the executive committee of the NSDAR.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable. Awards are placed on deposit with the college or university; any unused portion shall be returned to NSDAR.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
