Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher.
  2. Must have an ACT score of 32 or higher, OR a combined reading/math SAT score of 1400 or higher.
  3. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  5. This award is for U.S. students.
  6. Must reside in Pinellas County, Florida.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for high school seniors in Pinellas County who have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher, as well as an ACT score of 32 or higher OR a combined math and verbal SAT score of 1400 or higher. Selection is based on commitment to community service and potential for leadership.

Application requirements for the Phi Beta Kappa Alumni Association of Tampa Bay (Pinellas) are:

  • Standardized test scores
  • List of community service and leadership activities
Additional Information: Funded by the Phi Beta Kappa Alumni Association of Tampa, this scholarship is awarded each year to a local area student who demonstrates the highest levels of academic achievement, a commitment to community service, and demonstrated potential for leadership.

Award Amount: $3,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,500.
