In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Rose C. Diaz Memorial Scholarship is available for high school seniors in Hillsborough county who are of Hispanic descent. Applicants must qualify for free or reduced school lunches and must attend one of the following technical colleges in Hillsborough County: Aparicio-Levy, Brewster, Erwin, or Leary.

Additional Information: Provided annually in honor of Rose C. Diaz, this scholarship is awarded to a high school senior in Hillsborough County, Florida who is of Hispanic heritage. Applicants must demonstrate significant financial need, such as qualifying for free or reduced school lunch costs. Awards may be applied to tuition and educational expenses incurred while attending one of the following technical colleges in Hillsborough County: Aparicio-Levy, Brewster, Erwin, or Leary.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
