Number of Awards & Eligibility: Ten awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled college student.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  5. Must attend Santa Fe College.

Description: The Edward K. Roberts Scholarship scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who plan to attend Santa Fe College. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Application requirements for the Santa Fe College Edward K. Roberts Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Students may apply for a maximum of three scholarships as long as they meet the established criteria. Students can receive only one scholarship award per academic year. Scholarships are applied to the academic year awarded. Scholarships are non-transferable. Preference will be given to part-time college students as well as students who face financial difficulties but do not qualify for other forms of financial aid. A thank-you note to the scholarship donor must be received before the award is posted to the student's account.

Award Amount: $1,600 annually, renewable for one additional year if the recipient maintains a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. The scholarship is awarded in equal installments for fall and spring terms. Funds may be used to pay for tuition, books, and other educational expenses - as well as indirect expenses such as transportation, car repairs, and other essential costs that might otherwise interfere with the student's education.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $16,000.
