Number of Awards & Eligibility: Six awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a high school senior.
  4. Must plan to attend Santa Fe College.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  6. Must plan to major in education as a teacher.
  7. Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours.
  8. Must graduate from an Alachua or Bradford county (FL) high school.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who are graduating from an Alachua or Bradford county (FL) high school and plan to attend Santa Fe College. Students must plan to major in education as a teacher, and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Application requirements for the Santa Fe College Evelyn L. Wenzel Memorial Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The Wenzel E. Ruth Trust made a generous contribution to establish the Evelyn L. Wenzel Scholarship. Students may apply for a maximum of three scholarships as long as they meet the established criteria. Students can receive only one scholarship award per academic year. Scholarships are applied to the academic year awarded. Scholarships are non-transferable. A thank-you note to the scholarship donor must be received before the award is posted to the student's account.

Award Amount: The award amount varies annually. Most scholarships offered by the SFC Office for Development are valued at $1,600 annually.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $9,600.
