Additional Information: The Starke-Blosser Memorial Scholarship Fund is provided annually for graduating seniors at Higginsville High School, as well as undergraduate students who reside in Higginsville, Missouri. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, and participation in the community through service and other organizational involvement. Relatives of the Starke-Blosser family are also eligible to apply, regardless of location, but no special consideration will be given among the eligible applicants and all award selection will be based on those academic, financial, and community involvement factors. This award is managed and administered through the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, a local area charity founded in 1978 with the mission of providing assistance and centralized resources for decentralized charitable causes and giving. Award Amount: Up to $1,000 annually, non-renewable. Funds may be used for tuition, books, and other educational fees.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
