In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for international and U.S. high school seniors who reside in one of the following counties in Florida: Charlotte, DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Highlands, or Manatee and plan to attend a 4-year, 2-year or vocational/technical program in Florida.

Additional Information: Suncoast Credit Union, will award scholarships to graduating high school seniors who reside in one of the 17 counties served by the Credit Union. The criteria for the Suncoast Credit Union Scholarship program have been designed to give the Scholarship Selection Committee maximum flexibility in awarding the Scholarship. The Scholarship Selection Committee will recognize the individuals in the senior graduating class most deserving of an opportunity to continue their education. The recipient will be selected without regard to race, sex, color, creed, religious preference, age, national origin, disability or any other basis prohibited by law. Students who are Directors, employees, or family members of Directors or employees of Suncoast Credit Union, MEMBERS Title Company, MEMBERS Insurance Center, LLC or MEMBERS Trust Company are not eligible for this Scholarship. The decision of the Scholarship Selection Committee will be final.

Award Amount: $2,000 scholarships   The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $116,000.
