  1. Must be 14 years of age or older at time of application.
  2. Must be a legal U.S. resident.
  3. Must be a resident of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Top Ten List Scholarship is open to US students who are 14 years of age and older and who are currently enrolled (or enroll no later than fall of 2027) in an accredited postsecondary institution of higher education. One winner will receive a $1,500 scholarship.

Application requirements for the Top Ten List Scholarship are:

Additional Information:

Award Amount: $1,500 annually, non-renewable. The Scholarship prize will be in the form of a check made payable to the accredited postsecondary institution of higher education attended by the scholarship prize recipient (once the scholarship prize recipient has enrolled in an accredited postsecondary institution of higher education and submitted proof of enrollment to the sponsor). The scholarship prize recipient must submit proof of enrollment on or before Dec. 31, 2027.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.

Applications are available online. The application must include name and contact information, background details, academic details, and a short, original, previously unpublished written response to the scholarship topic, “Create a Top Ten List of the top ten reasons you should get this scholarship.” The written response must be in English, with correct spelling and grammar, and must not exceed 250 words. All applications become the property of the sponsor and will not be returned. The sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries. Limit one application per person. All applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the deadline date.
