Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually based on the number of eligible applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must plan to attend Wesleyan College in Georgia.
  2. Must enroll as a first-time college freshman. Wesleyan College defines this as either a graduating high school senior, or a student who has never attended college and graduated from high school or received a GED within the last three years.
  3. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher.
  5. Must have an SAT score of 1250 or higher OR an ACT score of 27 or higher.
  6. Must be a woman.
  7. Must attend a college or university in Georgia.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available to international and U.S. students who are planning to attend Wesleyan College in Georgia as first-time freshmen. The student must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher and an ACT score of 27 or higher or an SAT score of 1250 or higher.

Application requirements for the Wesleyan College Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter

  • Personal statement
  • Official Transcript
  • $30 app. fee
  • Test scores
Additional Information: Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee a scholarship. Upon review of applicant's admission credentials, the Scholarship Committee may choose to invite students who have not fully satisfied the stated eligibility requirements. A student may not receive two academic merit scholarships. She may, however, receive a second award in recognition of her leadership activities, or for the performing arts. This does not include Wesleyan’s premier scholarships – the Lane, Findlay, Munroe, Pitts, and Knox McNeill – which take the place of any previously awarded scholarships.

Award Amount: $15,000 annually, renewable for three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $225,000.
