Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. This is an undergraduate award.
  3. Must live within Lancaster County, Nebraska.
  4. Must be a current graduating senior or a former graduate of Norris High School in Firth, Nebraska.
  5. Must enroll or plan to enroll for 12 credit hours or more per semester.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  7. Must be a high school senior or older at time of application.

Description: This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who live within Lancaster County, Nebraska. Students must be a current graduating senior or a former graduate of Norris High School in Firth, Nebraska, and enroll or plan to enroll for 12 credit hours or more per semester.

Additional Information: These scholarships are available to current graduating seniors or former graduates of Norris High School in Firth, Nebraska. Applicants must possess the ability to do postsecondary work in a satisfactory manner. Preference will be given to applicants who attend a college or university in Nebraska, but it is not a requirement. An exception may be made, if in the judgment of the Lincoln Community Foundation, it is appropriate for the student to attend a non-Nebraska institution. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

Award Amount: $1,500 annually, renewable for up to an additional three years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,000.
