  2. Must be a graduating high school senior.

Description: The Wachusett-Worcester Love Your Neighbor Award is available for graduating high school seniors in Boylston, Holden, Paxton, Princeton, Rutland, Sterling, West Boylston or Worcester, MA. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement and unmet financial need.

Application requirements for the Wachusett-Worcester Love Your Neighbor Award are:

Additional Information: The Wachusett-Worcester Love Your Neighbor Award is provided annually through the Greater Worcester Community Foundation (GWCF). The scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors in the Worcester and Wachusett area, including Boylston, Holden, Paxton, Princeton, Rutland, Sterling, West Boylston or Worcester, MA. The GWCF has provided opportunity and financial assistance for more than 40 years in the central Massachusetts area, and continues this mission today with a variety of programs including scholarships for local area students. All applications completed prior to the deadline date will be given full consideration based on academic history, unmet financial need, and the strength of received recommendation letters. For this scholarship, judges will also consider how well each applicant demonstrates the concept of "loving your neighbor" through actions such as volunteer work, community participation, or other relevant activities.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
