Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards vary but multiple awards will be given.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a first generation college student.
  2. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Description: USAC awards students financially to assist with their study abroad expenses. For this award, applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and have parents who did not graduate from a 4-year institution.

Application requirements for the USAC First Generation Scholarship are:

  • Application form
Additional Information: Applicants must be pursuing a degree at an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The parents of applicants must NOT have graduated from a 4-year college or university.

Award Amount: Multiple awards of $750-$1,000 awards given.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.
