This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who attend a high school in the Better Business Bureau of Central North Carolina’s service area (Alamance, Caswell, Guilford, Randolph and Rockingham counties, and the city of Thomasville). Students will be judged in the areas of leadership, community service, academics, and an essay; students must also obtain a letter of recommendation from a BBB Accredited Business affiliated with the Better Business Bureau of Central North Carolina.
New Hampshire high school seniors who demonstrate academic achievement and financial need will be considered for this award. Students who meet any/all of the following criteria are given preference for funding: interest in pursuing a career in business, hospitality or food service industries; a grade point average of 3.25 or higher; substantial volunteer or community service.
Female high school seniors who attend Scarborough High School in Scarborough, Maine, are eligible for this scholarsip. Students must have a grade point average of at least 84 on a 100-point scale, and be involved in athletics and community service.
This award is for international students applying to Point Park University in Pennsylvania. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher, and an ACT score of 17 or higher, or an SAT score of 1240 or higher.
Graduating college seniors who are planning to pursue a career in a dairy-related field are eligible for this award. Students must have demonstrated leadership skills, academic ability, and interest in dairy cattle.
