Description: International Studies Abroad (ISA) helps make studying abroad more affordable through scholarships and grants. Castañeda Partnership Scholarships are $2,000 merit and need based awards for eligible students from affiliated universities planning a study abroad.

Application requirements for the Castañeda Partnership Scholarship are:

Additional Information: This award honors the memory of Dr. Castañeda, who immigrated to the United States from Mexico with his family when he was in the sixth grade. Through immersion, he quickly gained fluency in English and excelled in school. Then continued to educate himself, he went on to earn his B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. Recipients of this scholarship will have the opportunity to take part in the Correspondent Internship, which offers the recipient the chance to take photos and add content to the ISA Student Blog as a Castañeda Correspondent.

Award Amount: $2,000 awards offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,000.
