Number of Awards & Eligibility: Please note: The number of recipients for this program varies according to the number of students meeting the eligibility requirements in any given year. Each student meeting the requirements will receive an award.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a current undergraduate student who has completed one semester of college.
  4. Must have graduated in the top 20 percent of his/her high school class.
  5. Must have scored a combined SAT score (math/critical reading) of 1150 or higher.
  6. Must plan to transfer to Cedar Crest College in Pennsylvania.
  7. Must be a female.
  8. Must attend a college or university in Pennsylvania.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. students who have completed one semester of college with an SAT score of 1150 and in the top 20 percent of their class are eligible for this award. Students must transfer to Cedar Crest College in Pennsylvania.

Application requirements for the Cedar Crest College Transfer Student Scholarship for Freshmen are:

  • Official Transcript
  • Application form
  • Essay
  • Recommendation letters (up to 2)
  • ACT/SAT scores
Additional Information: The Presidential, Trustee, and Founders Scholarships are automatically renewed each year provided the student maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA and retains a full-time student status. The Dean's Scholarship and Achievement Award are automatically renewed each year provided the student maintains a 2.8 cumulative GPA and retains a full-time student status.

Award Amount: $10,000 to $15,000 annually, renewable for up to three years (or until graduation) as long as the recipient maintains a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $60,000.
