Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must demonstrate academic achievement with a grade point average of 2.7 or higher.
  3. Must plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university as a full-time student (12 credit hours per semester).
  4. Must be a resident of Hawaii.
  5. Must be attending Punahou School in Honolulu, HI.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  7. Must be a high school senior at time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The David L. Irons Memorial Scholarship Fund is available for Hawaii high school seniors who are attending Punahou School in Honolulu, HI. Students must have a grade point average of 2.7 or higher.

Application requirements for the David L. Irons Memorial Scholarship Fund are:

  • Application form
  • Personal statement
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: All applicants for this award must demonstrate financial need and good moral character. Recipients will be notified after the scholarship selection committees meet, which could be any time between May and August.

Award Amount: Approximately $500 annually, non-renewable. Students may reapply each year.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
