Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually and is dependent on the number of qualified applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a current college student who has completed 15 or more credit hours upon admission.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on all completed college course work.
  5. Must plan to transfer to DePaul University in Illinois.
  6. Must attend a college or university in Illinois.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. college students who have completed 15 or more credit hours of college course work with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher will be automatically considered for this transfer award upon admission to DePaul Universtiy in Illinois.

Additional Information: DePaul awards merit-based scholarships to transfer students who have exhibited academic excellence at their previous institution(s). Students are considered for scholarships exclusively based on their cumulative college grade point average from all previously-attended colleges and universities. High school academic information is not taken into consideration for transfer awards.

Award Amount: Up to $12,000 annually, renewable for two years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $36,000.
