Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies annually. Approximately three awards were provided last year.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for high school seniors in Maricopa County, Arizona. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, SAT/ACT scores of 1250 or higher, ACT scores of 28, and must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Additional Information: The Arizona Community Foundation provides scholarships for high school seniors and current college students throughout Arizona. Selection for awards is based primarily on academic records, financial need (as demonstrated by the FAFSA paperwork), and the quality of other submission items such as essays and recommendation letters.

Award Amount: $2,500 annually for students attending community colleges and $5,000 annually for students attending a four-year college or university. Awards are renewable for an additional year or three years, depending on enrollment.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $15,000.
