Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for U.S. college sophomores and/or graduate students who are residents of Arkansas and who are currently attending a college/university in Arkansas. Students must be members of the American Occupational Therapy Association and be pursing a career in occupational therapy.

Application requirements for the Florence Wood Scholarship are:

  • Reference forms
Additional Information: Applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance and have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement. Applicants are considered for all scholarships for which they qualify, but may receive only one scholarship per year. Post-baccalaureate graduate degrees require a dissertation, thesis, special project, or research component. Winners will be notified by April.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
