Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a citizen or resident of the U.S. or Canada OR be enrolled in an accredited educational institution in the U.S. or Canada.
  3. Must be an undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Applicants with lower grade point averages may be considered if they have otherwise outstanding qualifications or extenuating circumstances.
  5. Must be pursuing a career in a field that is related to floriculture or horticulture. Applicants for this award must have a career interest in the marketing or distribution of floral products.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. and Canadian undergraduate sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a career interest in the marketing or distribution of floral products. Students must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.

Additional Information: Julio "Toots" Armellini is founder of Armellini Express Lines, the largest flower carrier service in the United States. Each student who has won a scholarship will be sent a notification letter by U.S. mail. Scholarship decisions will be made by August of each year.

Award Amount: $2,200 annually, non-renewable. All scholarships are provided as cash awards with checks issued jointly in the name of the recipient and the college or institution he/she will be attending in the fall.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,200.
