Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of Hillsborough County, Florida.
  2. Must be female.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must come from a single-parent home, or reside in a group home.
  5. Must qualify for free or reduced cost school lunches.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  7. This award is for U.S. students.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for female high school seniors residing in Hillsborough County, Florida. Applicants must come from a single-parent home or reside in a group home, must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and must demonstrate unmet financial need.

Additional Information: This scholarship is available for graduating high school women in Hillsborough County, Florida. Applicants must come from a single parent home, a group family home, or otherwise demonstrate extreme financial need. Students must also show a commitment to participation in community service and high academic achievement, despite adverse financial conditions.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
