In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be diagnosed with diabetes (type 1 or type 2).
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  3. This award is for U.S. students.
  4. Must be accepted to or enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. undergraduate students who have been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must submit an original essay on one of the topics outlined at the provider website.

Additional Information: LosAngelesDUIAttorney.com believes that diabetes, while a serious challenge, should not be the end of one's dreams and ambitions. As such, this award is provided to a student with diabetes and a demonstrated attitude of perserverence. Selection is based entirely on academic merit and the quality of essay submissions.

To be considered for this award, students must write an original essay in response to the prompt described at the provider website. Essays must be between 500 to 1,000 words in length on one of the topics listed on the scholarship page.
