Number of Awards & Eligibility: Four awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  4. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  5. Must submit evidence of participation in anti-bullying efforts.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. high school seniors who have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and a history of promoting antibullying efforts and causes.

Application requirements for the Megan Meier Memorial Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Recommendation letter
  • Essay
  • Any applicable pictures or video
  • Recent grade report
Additional Information: The Megan Meier Foundation is seeking high school seniors that have made a positive impact in regards to issues of bullying and cyberbullying in their own school environment and community. Selection will be based on submitted items, quality of anti-bulling efforts, recommendations, and any other special circumstances provided in the application, such as extreme financial need, illness, etc.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
