In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to established radiologic technologists who are working to earn their first college degree (associate's or bachelor's). Students must study in the United States and be members of ASRT.

Additional Information: This scholarship was named in memory of Cathy Parsons, former ASRT Foundation Chairman. Funding for this scholarship is provided through a generous grant by the ASRT Board of Directors, as well as contributions from individual donors each year. An independent panel, the Scholarship Review Committee, evaluates applications and assigns scores to each section of the application based on standardized criteria. The combined scores are ranked, and recipients are recommended to the Board of Trustees for final approval. All awards are based on a combination of academic/professional achievements, essay content, financial need, and professional recommendation. All applicants are notified via email by May 1. Students may be awarded only one scholarship per year. If a student qualifies for more than one scholarship, he/she will receive the highest amount award for which he/she is selected.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable. .  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
