Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be of Polish descent.
  4. Must be an active member of the Polish National Alliance of Brooklyn, USA, Inc., Lodge #1903.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  6. Must enroll as a full-time student.
  7. Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student during the award year.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. undergraduate students of Polish descent who are active members of the Polish National Alliance of Brooklyn, USA, Inc. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Application requirements for the Polish National Alliance of Brooklyn, USA, Inc. Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Personal statement
  • Official Transcript
  • $35 app. fee
  • Photo
  • Proof of Polish descent
Additional Information: Selection is based on the following criteria: academic excellence, the applicant's academic achievements, interests, motivation, interest in Polish subjects, and involvement in the Polish American community. Financial need is taken into consideration. Only one member per immediate family may receive a Polish National Alliance of Brooklyn, USA Scholarship during any given academic year. Scholarship notifications will be made in writing around May 25.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
