This award is available for U.S. and international undergraduate students who have a biological parent who is a Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) member. The student’s parent must now be deceased after serving in the military in active duty and retiring. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and be under the age of 24.
This award is available for U.S. and international undergraduate students that have a parent or legal guardian who was a uniformed services member and died in active service. Students must attend an accredited college or university full-time during the following school year and be under the age of 24. If the applicant served in a uniformed service before completing college, his/her maximum age for eligibility will be increased by the number of years he/she served, for a maximum of five years.
High school seniors and current undergraduate students whose grandparent served in certain units of the Marines during World War II are eligible for this scholarship. Students must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and a household income of $82,000 or less.
This award is for U.S. high school seniors and undergraduate students. The student must be the child of a Navy Wives Clubs of America member and must be accepted to an accredited postsecondary institution prior to the scholarship deadline.
Up to $5,000 are awarded to enlisted members of the U.S. such as Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard pursuing college and graduate degrees. students must be full-time at accredited institutions. This award is available for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are a Purple Heart recipient OR are the spouse, child, grandchild, or great-grandchild (natural or adopted) of a Purple Heart recipient. Students must also have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
This scholarship is open to surviving spouses and children of fallen active-duty or veteran members of the United States Armed Forces. The student must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll in a college or university in the upcoming semester to pursue a trade or professional certificate, associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, graduate, post-graduate or doctoral degree; the student must also demonstrate financial need.
