Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be an undergraduate student at the time of application.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be a resident of Maryland.
  4. Must be Jewish.
  5. Must demonstrate a commitment to Jewish life, culture, and study.
  6. Must be majoring in education.
  7. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  8. Must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for Jewish residents of Maryland who are majoring in education with a grade point average of 2.8 or higher. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate commitment to Jewish life, culture, and study.

Additional Information: This scholarship is awarded to Jewish residents of Maryland who are majoring in education. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to Jewish life and study and must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher. This a competitive program; not all applicants will be selected as recipients. All decisions of Central Scholarship Bureau and the Grant Committees are final.

Award Amount: $2,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.
