Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offerd varies annually and is dependent on funding.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a resident of Pinellas County, Florida, OR attend college in Pinellas County, Florida.
  4. Must be a member of a National Panhellenic Conference Sorority at a four-year college or university.
  5. Must be a female.
  6. Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student.
  7. Must enroll full time.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. students who are members of a National Panhellenic Conference Sorority at a four-year college or university are eligible for this award. Students must reside in Pinellas County, Florida or attend college in Pinellas County, Florida.

Application requirements for the St. Petersburg Panhellenic Association Scholarship are:

  • Financial statement
Additional Information: Greatest consideration will be given to financial need and academic achievement. Additional consideration will be given for leadership abilities and experiences, an essay and letter of recommendation. Award recipients will be notified by early May. They will be invited to a St. Petersburg Panhellenic Scholarship Awards Brunch to be held May 11, 2019.

Award Amount: $750 to $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $875.

Applications are available online from the St. Petersburg Panhellenic Association website. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit the following materials: a complete list of extracurricular activities for high school and college; a statement from her financial aid officer regarding any financial assistance she is receiving now and/or anticipates receiving next year; a letter of recommendation from a faculty member or other collegiate advisor; official university transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (at least one semester must be completed and reflected on the transcript); and a short essay describing why she is applying for this scholarship. The student may include any additional comments or information that may be applicable (optional). Applications and supporting materials must be mailed to the address provided and must be received by the deadline.
