Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This grant is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must have a parent or stepparent who was (now deceased) or is an Elk Lodge member in good standing.
  4. Must demonstrate financial need.
  5. Must be under the age of 23 as of December 31.
  6. Must be an incoming college freshman or current undergraduate student.
  7. Must be single.
  8. Must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This grant is for U.S. students of deceased or totally disabled Elk Lodge members. Students must demonstrate financial need and have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.

Application requirements for the Emergency Educational Grant are:

  • Essay
  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • SAT/ACT scores
  • Financial aid award letter
Additional Information: The Emergency Educational Grant program provides financial assistance to children of deceased or totally disabled Elks, who wish to obtain or further their college education. Students cannot accept more than one ENF scholarship/grant in any one academic year.

Award Amount: Up to $5,000 annually. Students may apply for renewal for up to three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.
