  1. Must be a resident of Hillsborough County, Florida.
  2. Must be African-American or Hispanic.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  5. This award is for U.S. students.
  6. Must plan to attend Hillsborough Community College.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for African-American and Hispanic high school seniors residing in Hillsborough County, Florida. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and must enroll at Hillsborough Community College.

Additional Information: Made possible by a donation from David A. & Mary Irene Falk, this scholarship is awarded each year to an African-American or Hispanic student who is graduating from high school and planning to attend Hillsborough Community College during the following fall semester.

Award Amount: $4,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.
