Description: In the first sentence, mention # of awards and total award amount or range): As part of the National Black Nurses Association programs, FIGS sponsors $45,000 worth of grants. Three grants of $15,000 each go to eligible nursing students pursuing a BSN degree or higher.

Application requirements for the National Black Nurses Association FIGS Nursing Grant are:

Additional Information: NBNA provides annual scholarships and grants for students. Candidates must be a member of NBNA and a member of a local chapter (if one exists in your area). If a chapter does not exist within a 50-radius of your location you can join NBNA as a Direct Member. Candidate must be currently enrolled in a nursing program (BSN, AD, Diploma or LPN / LVN, Masters, and Doctoral) and in good scholastic standing at the time of application.

Award Amount: $15,000 grants  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $45,000.
