Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a 2 or 4-year accredited college or university in the United States of America.
  4. Must be a full-time student (minimum of 12 credits for undergraduate, 9 credits for graduate).
  5. Students must be able to prove disability through his/her Disability Student Services Department. disABLEDperson, Inc define disability as described under the ADA: “A physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities of such an individual.” A record of such an impairment or being regarded as having such an impairment.

Additional Information: The winner will be announced on the disABLEDperson website one month after the application deadline. Upon winning, the student will prove disability through his/her Disability Student Services Department. disABLEDperson, Inc define disability as described under the ADA: "A physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities of such an individual." A record of such an impairment or being regarded as having such an impairment.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
