Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be provided each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be accepted to or enrolled in an undergraduate or vocational program.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Description: The Intoxalock Drunk Driving Prevention Scholarship is available for undergraduate students who submit an original public service announcement on preventing intoxicated driving.

Application requirements for the Intoxalock Drunk Driving Prevention Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Video submission
Additional Information: The selection of a scholarship winner will be primarily based on the quality of video submissions received. Judges will evaluate all videos based on the following criteria: resposiveness to the topic prompt; thoughtfulness and originality; and overall effectiveness of the message as a PSA. One winner will be contacted within two weeks of the deadline date and asked to provide additional information to confirm eligibility.

Award Amount: $3,000 annually, non-renewable. Funds will be paid directly to the student's school and may be used to pay for tuition, housing, books, or any other educational expense related to the cost of attending college.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.
