Number of Awards & Eligibility: Up to three awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be majoring in counseling.
  3. Must be enrolled or planning to enroll full time.
  4. Must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a graduate or undergraduate program in the fall semester following the deadline date.

Description: This scholarship is available to U.S. and international students enrolled full time in a degree-granting graduate or undergraduate program in counseling.

Application requirements for the Lullelia W. Harrison Scholarship in Counseling are:

  • Essay
  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Submit a copy of W-2 form
  • Include documentation of community service activities
Additional Information: The National Educational Foundation of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was created and is operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. The principal activities and purpose of the trust are to award scholarship grants to worthy students for the pursuit of higher education; to conduct community educational programs which will aid in the educational and vocational improvement in individual and community living standards; to engage in activities which will aid in the educational development of all women; and to engage in any appropriate research related to the purposes of the foundation scholarships.

Award Amount: $500 to $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
