Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  3. Must be an incoming or current undergraduate student.
  4. Must enroll on a full-time basis.
  5. Must reside in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont (Caledonia, Essex, or Orleans counties), OR in Burlington, Vermont.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for high school seniors and current undergraduate students who reside in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont (Caledonia, Essex, or Orleans counties) or Burlington, Vermont. Students must demonstrate financial need.

Application requirements for the VSAC Board of Directors Scholarship (Joseph Boutin) are:

Additional Information: VSAC established this scholarship to honor the contributions Joseph Boutin made as a VSAC board member from October 1985 through June 2007. All applicants must attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding, and must demonstrate financial need. Selection is based on financial need and application documents. There are approximately 190 applicants for this award each year.

Award Amount: Up to $1,000 annually, may be renewable for up to three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.
