Number of Awards & Eligibility: Six awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a current high school junior or senior.
  4. Must reside or attend school in one of the following North Dakota counties: Adams, Billings, Bottineau, Bowman, Burke, Burleigh, Divide, Dunn, Emmons, Golden Valley, Grant, Hettinger, Kidder, Logan, McHenry, McIntosh, McKenzie, McLean, Mercer, Morton, Mountrail, Oliver, Pierce, Renville, Sheridan, Sioux, Slope, Stark, Ward, Wells, Williams.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: High school juniors and seniors who reside or attend school in select North Dakota counties are eligible to apply for this award. The applicant must be nominated (either by another person or himself/herself) and submit an essay.

Application requirements for the West Dakota Chevy Scholarship Program are:

  • Nomination
  • Essay
Additional Information: Six scholarship finalists will be revealed from April 3 to April 10. The grand prize winner will be announced on April 12.

Award Amount: The grand prize winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship. Five finalists will each receive a $500 scholarship. Scholarships are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,250.
