Number of Awards & Eligibility: At least two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. and international students.
  2. Must be a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana.
  3. Must be enrolled at or accepted to an accredited college, university, or vocational program.
  4. Must identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT).

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is provided annually to support the financial needs of LGBT students who reside in Indianapolis, Indiana. Applicants must demonstrate academic potential and a history of service & advocacy within the LGBT community.

Application requirements for the PFLAG Indianapolis Chapter Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
Additional Information: This scholarship is provided annually by the Indianapolis chapter of PFLAG to support the financial needs of local LGBT students. Applicants must demonstrate academic potential and a history of service & advocacy within the LGBT community.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
