Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must have demonstrated or expressed an interest in the plastics industry and must major or take courses in an area that would be beneficial to a career in the plastics industry. This would include, but is not limited to, the following: plastics engineering, polymer science, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering.
  3. Must be a full-time student.
  4. Must be enrolled in either a four-year college or a two-year technical program.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: International and U.S. students enrolled full time at a four-year college or two-year technical school are eligible for this award. Students must major in or take courses that would be beneficial to a career in the plastics industry.

Additional Information: All applicants must be in good standing with their colleges. Financial need is considered for most scholarships. All scholarships will be paid directly to the recipients' schools. The SPE Foundation will not award scholarships to applicants who are not qualified and reserves the right to not award a scholarship in a given year if it so chooses.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
