Minority Teachers of Illinois (MTI) Scholarship
This scholarship is available for Illinois resident undergraduate and graduate students who are African American/Black, Hispanic American, Asian American or Native American origin and planning to become preschool, elementary or secondary school teachers. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
Swackhamer Disarmament Video Contest
This award is available for current high school and college students. To apply, each student must submit a short video of approximately 2-3 minutes on the topic of nuclear disarmament.
University of Maine Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship
This scholarship is available for high school seniors who will graduate from a state-approved Maine high school and plan to attend the University of Maine at Orono.
PDK Prospective Educator Scholarship Program
This scholarship is available for international and U.S. high school seniors and current undergraduate students who plan to major in or are majoring in education. Current college students must be members of Phi Delta Kappa International.
Maine Graphic Arts Association (MGAA) Scholarship
This scholarship is offered to international and U.S. high school seniors who are attending a Maine high school. Students must plan to pursue a degree in graphic arts pertaining to printing, and have a C average or higher.
Roberta M. Born Scholarship
Graduating high school seniors or current undergraduate college students who are residents of Glynn County in Georgia are eligible to apply for this award. Studens must have a strong background and/or course of study in the arts and humanities.
Liberty Graphics Art Contest
Maine high school seniors are eligible to enter this art contest. Students must submit an art entry on the theme of ‘Art and Our Natural Environment’ in traditional two-dimensional media.
Educators for Maine Program
This forgivable loan program is available to Maine graduating high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who are pursuing initial certification as a teacher, including speech pathology or child care provider qualifications. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Charles L. Hebner Memorial Scholarship
This award is available for current high school seniors who are U.S. citizens and residents of Delaware. Applicant must plan to enroll full time at the University of Delaware or Delaware State University and plan to major in the humanities or social sciences.
