This award is available to non-Texas resident college teachers and professors who are employed at a public college or university in Texas. The waiver allows the teacher/professor and/or his/her immediate family members to pay resident tuition rates.

Military: Member/Spouse/Child who Remains Continuously Enrolled in Higher Education in Texas Waiver
This award is available for U.S students who are members of the U.S. Armed Forces or commissioned officers in the U.S. Public Health Service, and their spouse or child. Applicants must be attending a public college or university in Texas as a non-resident student.
Texas Bordering States Waiver
This award provides a waiver of non-resident tuition for students from Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico or Oklahoma enrolled in certain public institutions in Texas.
Texas Competitive Scholarship Waiver
This award is available for U.S. and international students who have been awarded a competitive scholarship of at least $1,000 and who plan to attend a public college or university in Texas.
Texas Border County Waiver
This program provides a waiver of nonresident tuition to individuals who are residents of a county or parish of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, or Oklahoma that is adjacent to Texas. Students must enroll in an eligible Texas institution.
Lewis-Clark State College Presidential Out-of-State Scholarship
High school seniors and transfer students who are not residents of Idaho and are planning to enroll at Lewis-Clark State College for the first time are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must plan to enroll full time.
TAMU Shibata International Memorial Scholarship
International students who are currently enrolled full time at Texas A&M University are eligible for this award. An eligible applicant must have demonstrated high academic standards, and have a curiosity and openness to people and traditions of other countries. In addition, the student must be actively involved in organizations other than international ones.
Mexican Citizens with Financial Need Waiver
High school seniors or older students who are citizens of Mexico and plan to enroll full time at Texas A&M University are eligible for this award. The award will cover the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition.
TAMU Bill and Rita Stout Academic Excellence Award
International undergraduate students who have completed 30 or more credit hours at TAMU are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher; preference is given to students enrolled at TAMU/Koriyama.
Simon Youth Foundation Community Scholarship Program
This scholarship is available for U.S. high school seniors who reside within 50 miles of a Simon® property. Students must plan to enroll full time in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school in the upcoming fall semester, and must demonstrate academic promise and financial need.
