Elekta Radiation Therapy Scholarship
This award is for U.S. undergraduate students who are enrolled in an entry-level radiation therapy program and are members of ASRT. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher; the student’s program director must verify the grade point average based on one or more semesters of study.
Speech-Language Pathologist Forgivable Loan (SLPL)
Mississippi students pursuing a master’s degree in a program at a Mississippi college/university leading to licensure as a speech-language pathologist are eligible. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and agree to work in a Mississippi public or charter school district as a speech-language pathologist to forgive the loan.
SREB Optometry Loan/Scholarship (SREB)
This forgivable loan is available to Mississippi students who plan to attend an approved out-of-state school of optometry. Students must practice optometry in Mississippi full time after graduation for forgiveness of the loan.
Jack F. and Edith Updyke Harmon Scholarship
This scholarship is available for high school seniors at Tennessee High School in Bristol, TN; Virginia High School and John S. Battle High School, both in Bristol, VA; Sullivan Central High School in Blountville, TN; or Bland High School in Bland, VA. Dorsey and Betty King Scholarship
This scholarship is available for high school seniors in Claiborne and Campbell Counties of Tennessee. Applicants must be planning to enroll full time and pursue an education in nursing.
Brilla Mallicoat Young Scholarship
This scholarship is available for high school seniors who are graduating from Washburn School, Grainger County High School or Hancock County High School. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and plans to pursue a certification as a Registered Nurse (RN).
B&W Y-12 Scholarship
This scholarship is available for high school seniors residing in Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Knox, Loudon, Morgan, Roane, or Sevier Counties in Tennessee. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must plan to major in science or engineering. This award is not intended for those students who are planning to pursue a career as a medical professional.
Candace Mast Veterinary Scholarship
This award is for female high school seniors in Eastern Tennessee who are planning to major in veterinary medicine at one of the following eligible colleges: University of Tennessee, Knoxville or Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Helen J. Switzer Nursing Scholarship
This award is for Vermont undergraduate students who are enrolled in an eligible nursing degree program (LPN, AS-RN, BSN-RN) and demonstrate financial need. Students must reside in Windham County; preference will be given to residents of Rockingham, Westminster, Athens, and Grafton, in that order.
