Maryland Workforce Shortage Student Assistance Grant

The Workforce Shortage Student Assistance Grant (WSSAG) program is for students who plan on working in specific career/occupational programs upon graduation. Eligible fields include: child care, human services, teaching, nursing, physical and occupational therapy, social work, and public service.

Charles W. Riley Firefighter and Ambulance and Rescue Squad Member Scholarship Program

This award is for Maryland residents who are pursuing in a degree or certificate program in either fire service technology or emergency medical technology at a postsecondary institution in Maryland. The student must be an active career or volunteer firefighter, ambulance or rescue squad member and agree to serve a Maryland community as a career or volunteer firefighter or ambulance and rescue squad member while taking college courses.

Basil L. King Scholarship Fund – Two- and Four-Year Award

Residents of St. Lucie County in Florida who are high school seniors or current undergraduate students with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must enroll full time in a health science program.

Eleanora G. Wylie Scholarship Fund for Nursing

This award is for U.S. students in West Virginia who are pursuing a field of study in nursing or gerontology. The applicant must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and an ACT score of 20 or higher. A $500 award is offered. Click here to learn more and apply today!

This award is for a U.S. high school senior or older at Clay High School in West Virginia. The applicant must pursue a degree in the field of engineering, sciences, or mathematics at a university in West Virginia. The applicant must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and an ACT score of 20.

Nicholas & Mary Trivillian Scholarship Fund

This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are residents of West Virginia. Students must be pursuing courses of study in the fields of medicine or pharmacy, have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, and having an ACT score of 20 or higher. This award is for a U.S. student from West Virginia who is pursuing education or training in the fields of library science, nursing, or para-professional training in the legal field. The applicant must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and an ACT score of 20 or higher to be eligible.
