Science, Mathematics, And Research for Transformation Defense Scholarship (SMART)
This scholarship is for students ages 18 or older who are U.S. citizens with a B average or higher and planning a career in science, math, or engineering fields. Recipients of this award must agree to participate in summer internships for the Department of Defense and work for the Department of Defense after their schooling is completed.
The Mary Rubin and Benjamin M. Rubin Scholarship Fund
This award is available for women who are residents of Maryland who have been out of high school for at least 12 months. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate financial need.
Lessans Family Scholarship
This award is available to Jewish students who are are enrolled as an undergraduate in an accredited college, university or vocational school and whose family income is less than $90,000 per year. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or better, and have already applied for a Central Scholarship interest-free loan for the current year.
Saline County Single Parent Scholarship
Undergraduate single parents who reside in Saline County, Arkansas and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must live at or near the poverty level and have one or more children under the age of 18.
BHD Endowed Scholarship Fund for Teachers
This award is available for permanent residents of Maryland with an interest in a teaching career. Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in the liberal arts, sciences or mathematics and be pursuing a master’s degree in education.
Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship
This scholarship is available for U.S. college freshmen who are American Indian or Alaska Native with proof of enrollment or descendancy. Students must be the first in their immediate family to attend college, have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and plan to attend a tribal college.
Doc and Barbara Cartwright Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available for male U.S. undergraduate students who are American Indian or Alaskan Native with proof of enrollment or descendancy. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and attend a tribal college.
Lagrant Foundation Graduate Scholarship
This award is available for U.S. graduate students with a grade point average of 3.2 or higher who are of either African American, Asian/Pacific, Hispanic, or Native American heritage. The applicant must major in a field of study that has an emphasis on public relations, marketing or advertising.
