Nissan North America, Inc. Scholarship

This scholarship is available for current U.S. undergraduate students who are American Indian or Alaskan Native with proof of enrollment or descendancy. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Al Neuharth Free Spirit Scholarship and Conference Program

The Al Neuharth Free Spirit and Journalism Conference is an engaging, in-depth, five-day summer program for 51 high school journalists (one from each state and the District of Columbia) who “dream, dare and do.” Be the one to represent your state and join students from around the country at an exclusive, free Washington, D.C., journalism experience like no other.

Rhode Island Commission on Women/Freda Goldman Education Award

This award will be given to Rhode Island women to assist with transportation, child-care, tutoring, educational materials, and/or other support services. Preference will be given to highly motivated, self-supporting, low-income women who are completing their first undergraduate degree or certificate program.

Lily and Catello Sorrentino Memorial Scholarship

Applicants for this scholarship must be 25 years of age or older and attending any degree-conferring, non-parochial educational college or university within Rhode Island. Students must demonstrate financial need; preference will be given to first-time applicants.

RDW Group, Inc. Minority Scholarship for Communications

This scholarship is open to Rhode Island students who are studying communications at the undergraduate or graduate level. Students must be from a minority group.

Hildegard Durfee Scholarship (Undergraduate)

This scholarship is available for Vermont high school seniors and current undergraduate students who reside in Windham County (preference to residents of Bellows Falls, Brattleboro, Dummerston, Guilford, Newfane, and Putney). Students must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need.

Jean Andrews Nursing Scholarship

This award is available to undergraduate and graduate students who reside in Addison County, Vermont. Students must seek a degree in registered nursing or nursing education and demonstrate financial need.
