This award is for U.S. students who are residents of West Virginia and are planning to major in education at a college in West Virginia. The applicant must have an ACT score of 20 or higher and a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
Robert D. Ashworth Scholarship Fund
This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are residents of West Virginia. Students must be a member (or immediate family is a member) of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Charleston, West Virginia, have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and an ACT score of 20 or higher.
NIH Undergraduate Scholarship Program
U.S. undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional financial need and have a grade point average of 3.3 or higher or rank in the top five percent of their class are eligible to apply for this award. Students must demonstrate a sincere interest in pursuing a career in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research.
