GFOA Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship

This scholarship is available for U.S. or Canadian college juniors, seniors, and graduate students who belong to one of the following groups (as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau): Black or African American, Asian, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, or a Pacific Islander. Students must be majoring in public administration, (governmental) accounting, finance, political science, economics or business administration (with a specific focus on government or non-profit management).

GCFM Horticulture Scholarship

The GCFM Horticulture Scholarship is awarded to college juniors and seniors or graduate students who are legal residents of the State of Maine and not related to a GCFM Board Member. (College sophomores are eligible as they will be entering their junior year the following fall.) The Scholarship recipient is invited to attend the GCFM Annual Meeting and Awards luncheon at the State Convention held in June.

Frank L. Greathouse Government Accounting Scholarship

This scholarship is available for U.S. and Canadian undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in an accounting program preparing for a career in state and local government finance. Undergraduate students must be in the process of completing at least their junior year by the time the scholarship is awarded.

Lewis-Clark State College Presidential Out-of-State Scholarship

High school seniors and transfer students who are not residents of Idaho and are planning to enroll at Lewis-Clark State College for the first time are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must plan to enroll full time.

Bud’s Shop ‘N Save Scholarship Program

This scholarship is available for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are associates and/or children of an associate working in one of the three Bud’s Shop ‘N Save supermarkets in Pittsfield, Newport or Dexter, Maine.

Boothbay Region Student Aid Fund

This scholarship is available for international and U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are residents of one of the following Maine cities: Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb, or Southport. Students must have attended Boothbay Region High School in Boothbay, Maine.
