There are also some very unique, and incredible, choices of majors here that can really excell in the the enviroment provided by BYUH. Things like oceanography and marine biology are amazing programs that are truly unsurpassed here because of the beautiful island enviroment. Also majors such as International Relantions or International Cultural Studies are so profficient here because of the diversity of the students who attend this school.

The people that should attend this school are those that are looking for an environment to complete their education quickly, with a lot of support from the faculty and their fellow students. Students here are also surrounded by other students from well over 70 different countries, and saying that they should not only want to come here to focus on their education, but also the many different cultures that they are so completely immersed in.

If you want to attend this school be ready to focus on your studies and not the beach. Our campus is one block away from the beach and it is sometimes hard to go to class when the sun is out and the swell is big. You have to know how to have self control. If you like to drink and party this school is not for you. The students sign and abide by an honor code which creates an enriched learning environment. It is nice to not have to worry about drug and alcohol problems among peers.

Many students can join BYUH. If they are motivated and well energized to come to Byuh they could. Mainly this school is well known for business so if business students come to this university they'll be well understood with there major of business or accounting etc. However, many students with good heart and ready to learn can come to school and they can meet new people from all over the world.

This school is great for people from any background, because there are 72 nations represented here, anyone can feel welcome. The small classes mean that people receive individual help and instruction.

Everybody is welcome. This is a church school so if you want to go to school here you must expect church standards to be followed by you. With students from more than 70 countries, you will be exposed to different cultures and races and so it is best to get ready for it. A student who will succeed at this school will be one who has a love for cultures. They should be open to learning and experiencing a variety of cultures throughout their college years. A prospective student should be open and willing to meet and befriend people on a daily basis. To attend BYUH you have to sign an Honor Code, due to that, a student must be willing to be obedient to the regulations in place. Flexibility is a helpful trait. Humility because you will be exposed to people from all sorts of backgrouds, some not of the best circumstances.

This school is the most culturally diversed university in the U.S.A with students from about 70 different countries. So i think that if you're into learning and trying new things, new food, new languages than this is the school for you. also if you are outgoing and spontaneous than you should attend BYU-HI. those with a sense of humor, those that want to get away from the busy and upbeat city life, this is the perfect school for you. BYU-HI is located far from the city so it is calm, peaceful, safe and beautiful.

It is a very good school for international students and students from the Mainland if they are interested in helping people internationally. People who are dedicated and want to make a difference in the world.

A person that loves diversity. There are students from almost 100 different countries here. They need to feel comfortable living in a small city. They also need to be comfortable with the small school atmosphere. There are high schools that are bigger than this unviversity. They should be a person that is in general a friendly person that can have the "Aloha Spirit". They s need to be able to get a long with others well because you a lot of the same people everyday.

Anybody that wants a fun, alcohol free, and divers culutural experience.

There are people from all different cultures here. The best person to attend here would be someone who is open to new ideas, cultures and people. Even though this school is in Hawaii it is not all games. They take academics very seriously. The ideal person would be someone who is very open to new ideas and who is very motivated.

Anyone can attend this school because every professor we have here in this school are ph.d holders. We love our professors for their efforts in correcting our papers, asnwering our questions at odd times and even replying our junk questions. I'm so greatful to be here, i recommend those people who have never known the standards of dress and honor should come here to learn and go to serve in their office or homes. I highly recommend those people to come here so that they may know what is world and what world's expecting from them?

Probably someone of the LDS faith and/or anyone with strong moral values. There are a lot of international students that attend this university, they have different languages, cultures, etc. so anyone open to learning of other cultures through the classmates he/she meets. There are also opportunities to learn of the world through the culture activities offered on campus. Also, because of its location in Hawaii, a person attending this school should probably like being outside, tolerant of humid, warm, sunny but wet, and windy climate, and/or enjoy the ocean and its activities.
