The most frustrating thing about my school is that adult students tend to be left out of "the Loop" when it comes to the events on campus and procedures for their majors/minors.

It's difficult to graduate on time here, yet the tuition is so high that students can easily go into debt.

I am in the middle of nowhere. Literally all we have to do on campus is eat, watch movies, and study. There aren't enough jobs on campus to support all their students so that is not an option either. If there were more to do on campus I would probably be more apt to have a good time and stay at the current college I'm at.

The campus is closed and not located near other businesses so I have to drive everywhere because nothing is within walking distance. It would be nice to have some kind of grocery place on campus which they are building in the next couple years.

I find that many of the students don't have a real passion for learning the subject matter, even when it's a class within their major. If students were to be more involved in the subject matter, all students in the class would benefit. I also find that there are many students that do not have opinions about subjects which I find to be important and even when they do, they are unwilling to discuss them with me if their view is differnt than my own.

The most frustrating part about attending Carthage college is when you're a varsity athelete you're expected to give 150{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} in your sport at all times to represent your school the very best you can however at the same time everyone expects just as much effort in the classroom. It's often hard to please teachers and coaches alike, but they try to be understanding of your situation.

Most of the time the prices of food and books. The food on campus is definitely over priced especially for students that do not live on campus or have a meal plan. The book prices are expensive and most of the time we do not use them much in class.

At times, it seems that the school can tend to be more focused on budget than what is truly important at the school. Although this can be frustrating, we as students tend to not realize the true meaning behind their decisions. Their decisions do usually hold the students at the core of them.

The work load obtained from being a science major, the labs on top of projects on top of homework can get quite overwhelming.

How much drama there seems to be withing the music theater and theater departments.
