The location is definitely one of the best things about CSU. Living in the #1 city in the nation is always an honor, and anyone who has been to Fort Collins will agree. It is an incredible city with endless opportunities without the "big city" feel. The campus is right in the middle of town, which allows for easy access to anywhere within a few minutes drive or bike ride.
People are excited about CSU when they come to visit or go on tours of the campus. While talking about all of the various clubs and organizations, especially within the college of business, parents are just as excited as their students to get involved on campus.
There is not a lot of school spirit, but I feel like there is a lot of school pride. Especially when it comes to games with our rival school, CU Boulder. But it is really sad that students only judge going to athletic games if our team is winning. Being one of only three students to go to the CSU girls basketball game against Wyoming, when it was on TV mind you, really showed me just how students don't care if we aren't winning.

Colorado State is the perfect size for a university. It is not small enough for you to know everyone, so there is always an opportunity to meet new people, but it's not so big that you get overwhelmed. You can get from one side to the other in about 10-15 minutes walking. I love that the dorms are separate from classes. So when you live on campus, you can go to school and come home and not feel like you're still at school. Most of my time on campus is spent in the library or at the Lory Student Center, where there are lots of restaurants, shops, and information available.

One thing i would change is the placement of building on campus. I love the fact there are no roads through it, and there is a lot of green everywhere. but our football field is so far away. i woud make it so everyone could party on their front porch for games and walk to games. you see much more school spirit this way.
When i tell people that i go to CSU, they are jealous of the fact that i just life in Colorado. But CSU has the best environment of any college. the people are great, they are what makes the school great
I have seen other campus and to tell you the truth, none of the building here make me just wanna stare and look at them. their pretty or beautiful and i think changing that, would bring a lot of attention here.

The best thing about CSU is the town. This is a very comfortable college town, and also a comfortable campus. It is very pretty. The size is just right for my liking. People are not surprised that I go here becuase a lot of people from my high school do becuase it is so close. I spend a lot of my time in the dorms with my friends. Sometimes I am in the LSC or library. The administration at CSU is fine. I have not had any problems. The controversy seems to be rising fees becuase our athletics are bad. I feel that when we are winning, there is a lot of school pride. There are many things I will remeber about my first year here and getting aquainted. The complaints are the rising fees, and parking in Corbett!!

The best thing about CSU is the town it is in. Fort Collins has a lot to offer being a centralized local community. There is a lot of locally based companies that appeal to the anti-corporate mindset that a lot of students have come to obtain. Plus there are 3 breweries within a mile of eachother- thats the best padding for being a student, good local beer.

CSU is a very good school and is in a great town. It is about the right size for me, and i dont really have any complaints

I love going to CSU, it has a great student atmosphere. I feel comfortable speaking my mind in class and people are open to different opinions. I think that it has the big school enviornment but that you can make if feel smaller and still have some small classes where you can meet other students. I spend most of my time in my dorm room because i feel t is a good place to study and hang out with friends, I have met man great new people through living in the dorms and think that they are handled well here at CSU. There is a lot of school pride aroung CSU....even when our sports teams aren't doing well student still wear their colors with pride. FOR SURE a college town, there are lots of places for 21 and under kids to hang out and old town is a fun place to spend weekend nights.

I think one of the best things about CSU is the beautiful campus. The campus is picturesque in all of the 4 seasons, and it's just a great place to be. Another plus of attending CSU is being right near Old Town Fort Collins, a great little town with much to do including great restaurants, coffee shops, entertainment venues, not to mention the great nightlife. One of my most fond experiences thus far would have to be attending a local band concert at the entertainment venue, The Aggie, in Old Town, it was a lot of fun and I had a great time.

I do think CSU is a bit overcrowded, especially the parking situation, I would like that to change. Here in Colorado and many other states CSU receives its fue credit and I have no problem saying I go here. I like the town it is a good and diverse community with college kids and many young families not to mention some seasoned folks. I don't like the demonstrators on campus but that is something all campuses endure and is part of it, but I still don't like it. There is a good amount of school pride and I do enjoy telling people about my school.

I really enjoy the campus, there are so many things to do, and places to go. I like how the buildings are in groups depending on majors, so it makes it easier to get to classes. I would really change the size of some of the class, sometimes classes of 200-300 people just get overwelming and half the time the person behind you is talking so you can't hear the teacher. But the class is too big for the teacher to care about one student talking. I think there are a lot of administration that really care about your grade and are willing to help, but then there are a few teachers that seem like they don't care at all. I think our school has school pride for a couple of games, but once a team starts to lose then the school gives up on the team, and quits coming to games.
